Sprinkler Designer
We are looking for a full time sprinkler designer. This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leading company and work with the latest software and technology to design and coordinate new construction projects throughout New Zealand.
Job Description
You will be at the forefront of new construction projects in New Zealand working along side teams of architects, engineers and contractors to design, coordinate and produce fire protection design packages for both fire contractors and owners or developers.Using software such as Revit & BIM360 to model & coordinate fire sprinkler systems to produce drawings and documentation for consent, tender & construction.
responsibilities
Design and Model fire sprinkler systems using Revit
Hydraulic calculations using Autosprink RVT
Stock listing and fabrication sheets
Attend design meeting for projects you are responsible for (Usually online)
Plan your work loads effectively and meet deadlines
Maintain good relationships with clients
Qualifications / experience
Fire protection experience (preferably with sprinklers)
Autocad or Revit experience
Good IT ability
Speak and write English
